How to get closer with God

What does it mean to walk with christ?

First let's talk about what it mean to walk with Christ. You read your bible everyday, you pray everyday, and you have live as Jesus did such as living in love, peace, happiness and etc. You spread the gospel, have a relationship with God, allowing the holy spirit to transform you , and surrendering to God.

How to Pray to God?

To Pray to God, you have to be naked not actually naked but figuratively. You want to fully be honest with God, because if you don't you're not gonna be able to fully experience and embrace God. All God wants you to do is to be honest with him, love him, and have faith in him, he wants you to go to him when your happy, sad, mad, anxious or embarrassed. He is our Father so he wants us to talk to him about anything.

Surrender to God

To surrender, you have to put your full faith into God, which means put your will and desires down. So you have to believe Gods way is better. Even though in the beginning it's hard it's worth it in the end.  Also once you surrender God will be able to use you to help other people and spread the gospel.

What happens when you follow God

As soon as you follow God you will feel made new, like a whole new person. You will feel at peace and happy. But the world will not like you happy and they will not like you as in john 15:18 it says " if the world hates you understand that it hated me first" Jesus was PERFECT and the world still hated him. Also it's ok if you don't have friends for awhile, God is shaping you into a better person and needs you to be alone for a season.
